A hunting safari is about more than just the shot — it is the full experience. The early mornings, long stalks, African landscapes, camp life, and the memories made along the way. One of the most valuable things you can take home from your safari, besides your trophies, is a professionally filmed record of your hunt that allows you to relive the experience for years to come.

At Umlilo Safaris, we offer in-house hunt filming, meaning your safari is filmed by someone who understands both wildlife and hunting. With 11 years of experience as a nature photographer and extensive personal hunting experience, I know how hunts unfold and how to capture the important moments without interfering with the hunt.

We film using professional equipment in 4K Ultra HD, ensuring very high-quality footage. In addition to your professionally edited hunt film, you will also receive a large collection of high-quality still photographs from your safari, including hunting photos, camp life, landscapes, and wildlife.

A hunt film allows you to relive not only the trophies you take, but the entire story of your African safari — the places, the people, and the adventure. Filming slots are limited and should be booked in advance to ensure availability.
