Bangweulu Wetlands

Bangweulu, meaning ‘where water meets the sky is a wetland ecosystem adjacent to Lake Bangweulu in north-eastern Zambia and measures over 1 500 000 acres. This very unique open area is home to the Sitatunga and Black Lechwe amongst others. Sitatungas are hunted from machans or purpose-built high seats, constructed by locals on the edges of the swamp areas. The Black Lechwe are spread across the floodplain grasslands with numbers as high as 50 000.

A must for any serious African Trophy collector.
