Umlilo Safaris is a third-generation family business, owned and operated by Francois & Melissa Dorfling together with their Umlilo Safaris Team!
We established the name Umlilo Safaris CC in 1999 and are specialist Southern African Big Game Hunting Outfitters, Hunting Agents and Professional Hunters.
Although we are born and bred in the Eastern Cape of South Africa – with the growth of our client base and a high volume of returning clients that want to experience different areas with us, we have expanded our hunting areas over the years. The countries we hunt are South Africa, Botswana, Tanzania, Mozambique, Zambia, and Zimbabwe. This enables us to offer close to 70 different species in some of the best hunting areas Africa has to offer - ensuring high quality trophies at the best possible prices. It also enables us to offer multiple experiences over many safaris to all our clients. The quality of the hunt is equal to the quality of the Trophy.
As a family run business, we welcome family and group bookings. We have many non-hunting, sightseeing or adventure options available in most areas. Whether its only for the non-hunters in your group or the whole family, whether its only an afternoon excursion or a multiple day add-on before or after the hunt – we arrange it all.
We also offer a full and comprehensive taxidermy service – right up to the delivery of your trophies. No safari is complete until the clients’ trophies are delivered.
